LTE – The new generation of the Internet

More and more Internet users are dissatisfied with current performance. Frequently, the Internet is too slow or dropping out altogether. Especially people in remote regions of Germany are living, have trouble getting a good internet coverage. So these problems no longer occur, sometimes the newest generation of Internet is on the market, the LTE.

LTE is the successor of the popular UMTS and HSPA. However, it has much more to offer and therefore greater benefits over its predecessors. First, of course, a fast transfer rate is important, here you can just shine UMTS at up to 42 megabits per second. LTE can afford the other hand, in some regions up to 300 megabits per second, this is not only a huge difference, but also a great advantage. Furthermore, LTE, also known as Long Term Evolution, offering a larger surface coverage. The developers of the LTEs expect that all the regions, no matter how remote or isolated they are to be fitted with high-speed Internet and phone. Also the reception even in different situations or premises will have a good connection. Thus, in closed rooms, possible in nature or in a moving car no connection problems.
The first city to be tested LTE was Stockholm in 2009. By the end of the year 2011, the test series ended. This follow many states want to use the LTE standard. Of course Germany is also there. Another advantage of LTE is that it requires no new posts or the like. You can use the current UMTS masts, simply switch to LTE. This not only saves time but also enormous costs, and this can come only to the final consumer good. Since LTE is not yet widely available in Germany and the tests are not completed yet, there are no prices for the new web. Very likely again be numerous vendors flood the market of LTE and you have trouble finding the correct one. Thus, one should not immediately move to LTE, but would rather wait a little and observe the market development. Also you do not know yet whether there will be flat and in what way this will be available.
